Senior Web Content Writer

Apply

Quanloop runs a regulated investment business, and we are hiring a senior writer to own the words behind it. You will be responsible for content across quanloop.com and our other web properties, plus the short and long copy we distribute across marketing and wider communications.

This is a broad writing role with real ownership. Some of what you write is customer-facing, some is partner-facing, and all of it lives in a regulated context where accuracy matters as much as clarity.

Working Arrangements

  • Working model: office-first in Budapest
  • Hiring basis: local hire for the Budapest office
  • Working language: English
  • Reports to: Head of Marketing and Communications

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Owning content across Quanloop’s websites, including product, trust and security, about, careers, and partner-facing pages, and keeping it current when the business changes
  • Writing and maintaining landing pages that explain what we do in plain terms, with a conversion layer where the page calls for one
  • Producing the short-form copy that marketing and other teams need for campaigns and communications
  • Writing longer articles from a brief or source input, including pieces for the blog
  • Turning complex, regulated subject matter into plain English that reads simply without losing accuracy, writing with both the customer and the regulator in mind
  • Following and documenting the voice, terminology, and content standards
  • Reviewing and rewriting existing content that has gone stale, unclear, or out of step with how we work
  • Making content decisions and explaining your reasoning

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a design, SEO-specialist, or growth-marketing role, though you will work with people who cover those areas
  • Not a role where AI does the thinking. You can use AI tools to draft faster, but the ideas, direction, judgement, and editing are yours.

A Typical Week

A typical week mixes new writing with maintenance and review:

  • Drafting or reshaping a website contents
  • Writing a blog article
  • Tightening short copy for a campaign, or drafting a landing page or e-mail
  • Fixing inconsistencies you have spotted across existing pages
  • Sitting with colleagues in Marketing and Communications, and with the teams whose work you describe, to check accuracy before anything goes live

Some weeks lean towards new content, others towards clean-up and standardising voice across properties. You will see your work published and be able to judge whether it reads clearly and holds up to scrutiny, which is how you improve what comes next.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Subject-matter knowledge in finance, fintech, or investment
  • Senior-level experience writing and owning web content for a regulated or otherwise complex organisation
  • A track record of making content decisions rather than only executing briefs, with a clear point of view on what to write and why
  • Strong ability to turn complex or regulated subject matter into clear, accurate copy across both short and long formats
  • Comfort writing for customers while staying mindful of regulatory and partner scrutiny
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to explain and defend your choices
  • Willingness to work on site as part of an office-first team in Budapest
