Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring an Analytics Engineer focused on reporting automation—building reliable, repeatable reporting capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve consistency of figures over time.

This is an office‑first role and can be based in Limassol or Budapest (depending on where we find the right candidate).

• Reporting line: You report to the Head of Compliance, with day‑to‑day delivery managed by the Head of Engineering.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Build and maintain automated reporting outputs used for internal and external reporting needs.
• Turn reporting requirements into dependable data definitions, transformations and repeatable outputs.
• Improve consistency of numbers by reducing manual steps and ambiguity in how figures are produced.
• Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to ensure reporting automation is reliable and supportable.
• Work with Risk and Compliance and relevant stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements and evidence expectations where applicable.
• Build practical documentation around definitions and reporting logic so outputs remain understandable and maintainable.
• Identify gaps in reporting data quality and drive improvements with the right owners.

What success looks like in the first 3–6 months

• You automate and stabilise an initial set of reporting workflows (target: ~10), reducing manual effort and improving consistency.
• Reporting definitions become clearer and more consistent, with fewer “different versions of the number”.
• Manual reporting effort reduces and reporting cycles become less fragile.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience building automated reporting, analytics outputs, or data transformations used in production.
• Comfortable working with structured data, definitions and repeatable reporting logic.
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience working with relational databases.
• Comfortable building reporting automation in Python and/or Java (production-quality code).
• Strong engineering discipline: maintainable code, documentation, and careful change.
• Experience in fintech or other regulated/high‑scrutiny environments is preferred.
• Clear written and spoken communication in English.
• Comfortable working on site with a team.
