Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring UI Developers (HTML/CSS) to strengthen UI implementation quality and throughput for the web product.
This is an office‑first role based in either Budapest or Tallinn. You will work on site in the office where you are hired.
This role is HTML/CSS‑first. You will work closely with Front-End Engineers (React), Product Design (UX/UI) and QA to turn designs into consistent, accessible and maintainable UI.
Role snapshot
- Working model: Office‑first (on‑site).
- Hiring basis: Local hiring for the Budapest or Tallinn office location.
- Onboarding: Based directly in the office where you are hired (Budapest or Tallinn).
- Language: English‑first working language.
- Reporting line: You report to a Tech Lead; Tech Leads report into Head of Engineering and/or the CTO.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Implement UI screens and components using semantic HTML and well-structured CSS.
- Translate design into consistent, predictable UI behaviour with strong attention to detail.
- Work with Product Designers (UX/UI) to refine implementation details and ensure UI consistency.
- Partner with Front-End Engineers (React) to integrate UI implementation with application components and data flows.
- Maintain accessibility basics and ensure UI is usable and robust across common scenarios.
- Keep implementation maintainable: clear structure, reusable patterns and reviewable changes.
- Work with QA on reliable UI behaviour and regression prevention.
- Contribute to practical documentation where it helps UI work scale across the team.
What success looks like in the first 3–6 months
- UI implementation becomes faster and more consistent, with fewer rework loops between design and engineering.
- CSS and markup quality improves in a way that other engineers can build on safely.
- The team ships UI changes with fewer avoidable regressions and clearer ownership.
What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience delivering production UI work with HTML and CSS.
- Solid understanding of semantic markup, maintainable CSS and cross-browser realities.
- Comfortable working closely with designers and React engineers as part of delivery teams.
- Able to work with code review and shared standards.
- Clear written and spoken communication in English.
- Comfortable working on site with a team.
