Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring Scrum Masters in Budapest to help delivery teams execute predictably: strong ceremonies, clean handovers, and a disciplined approach to removing blockers and improving how work flows.
This is an office‑first role based in Budapest.
You will work closely with Tech Leads, the Head of Engineering, Product Owners and QA to keep delivery consistent and to reduce avoidable friction across teams.
Role snapshot
- Working model: Office‑first (on‑site).
- Hiring basis: Local hiring for the Budapest office location.
- Language: English‑first working language.
- Reporting line: You report to the Head of Engineering and/or the CTO.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Facilitate delivery ceremonies and keep them practical: planning, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
- Improve delivery predictability by helping teams clarify scope, ownership, and definitions of done.
- Surface blockers early and drive follow-ups with the right owners across Engineering and Infrastructure.
- Maintain a clean delivery cadence across teams and support healthy collaboration between roles (backend, frontend, QA, design).
- Support Product Owners with structured backlog hygiene and delivery readiness.
- Help teams adopt disciplined habits that reduce rework: written decisions, clear handovers, and consistent standards.
- Track delivery risks and highlight issues early to the Head of Engineering/CTO when intervention is needed.
- Contribute to building the Budapest engineering hub into a stable, repeatable delivery organisation.
What success looks like in the first 3–6 months
- Delivery becomes more predictable: fewer surprises, cleaner handovers and better scope discipline.
- Teams spend less time in avoidable process friction and more time shipping.
- Cross-team dependencies are surfaced earlier and handled with clearer ownership.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master (or delivery facilitator) in a fintech environment; you must be able to demonstrate domain understanding in practice.
- Strong practical grasp of delivery discipline and team execution (not just ceremonies).
- Comfortable working closely with senior engineers and holding a clear bar for process quality.
- Clear written and spoken communication in English.
- Comfortable working on site with a team.
