Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring QA Engineers (Manual) in Budapest to validate workflows end‑to‑end, catch issues early, and keep releases reliable through disciplined testing and clear documentation.

This is an office‑first role based in Budapest.

Role snapshot

• Working model: Office‑first (on‑site).
• Hiring basis: Local hiring for the Budapest office location.
• Language: English‑first working language.
• Reporting line: You report to the Head of Engineering and/or the CTO.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Validate new features and changes against acceptance criteria across key workflows.
• Run structured regression and release validation with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain clear, structured test documentation and notes where required.
• Work closely with Product Owner, engineers and Automation QA to align testing with real release risk.
• Report defects clearly and support efficient triage and retesting.
• Help keep test cases and practical checklists current as the product evolves.
• Contribute to consistent quality standards across delivery teams.

What success looks like in the first 3–6 months

• Release validation becomes more predictable and less dependent on last-minute checks.
• Defects are found earlier, described clearly, and resolved with less back-and-forth.
• Test documentation is structured, practical, and usable by the team when needed.

What we’re looking for

• Commercial experience in manual QA for production software.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with repeatable workflows.
• Able to write clear defect reports and structured test notes.
• Comfortable working with engineers and shared standards.
• Fintech or regulated/high‑scrutiny environment experience is preferred.
• Clear written and spoken communication in English.
• Comfortable working on site with a team.
