Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring an IT Systems Administrator in Budapest to own internal systems administration and access hygiene that enables teams to work securely and consistently.
This is an office‑first role based in Budapest. The role may include on‑call support.
This role is distinct from SRE: the focus is internal corporate systems and identity/access administration, not the product runtime.
Role snapshot
- Working model: Office‑first (on‑site).
- Hiring basis: Local hiring for the Budapest office location.
- Language: English‑first working language.
- Reporting line: You report to the Head of Infrastructure.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Own joiner/mover/leaver workflows end‑to‑end: account provisioning, access changes, and deprovisioning.
- Administer cloud-based internal systems used day to day (collaboration, email, file storage, identity and access), without relying on ad‑hoc workarounds.
- Maintain access discipline and documentation suitable for a regulated environment, including DORA-related expectations where applicable.
- Partner with IT Support on device provisioning and endpoint-related workflows; support access and policy implementation as needed.
- Keep internal admin standards clear and repeatable, so requests and changes are handled consistently.
- Track and resolve internal systems incidents and access issues; escalate promptly when something looks wrong.
- Contribute to practical automation where it saves time and reduces manual errors (nice to have, not required).
- Participate in on‑call/after-hours support as needed for internal systems availability.
What success looks like in the first 3–6 months
- Joiner/mover/leaver processes become predictable and consistent, with fewer access errors and fewer manual exceptions.
- Internal systems administration is better documented and easier to operate across the team.
- Access changes and key admin actions are handled with clearer ownership and better traceability.
What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience in systems administration in a SaaS-heavy environment.
- Solid identity and access administration experience (accounts, groups, permissions, access reviews).
- Comfort operating with controls and documentation in a regulated context; DORA awareness is a plus.
- Calm troubleshooting mindset and good judgement with access-related issues.
- Clear written and spoken communication in English.
- Comfortable working on site with a team.
