Quanloop is building and running a security‑sensitive investment platform. We are hiring a Compliance Officer in Limassol to support day‑to‑day compliance execution and maintain a practical compliance baseline in a firm that is pending authorisation as an investment firm.
This role requires the CySEC Advanced Certificate at minimum. The CySEC AML Certificate is strongly preferred (evidence required). This is an office‑first role based in Limassol and is hired locally.
You will report to the Head of Compliance and work closely with the MLRO, DORA programme governance and operational teams to keep standards clear and workable.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, templates and registers as required.
- Support compliance monitoring activities and follow-ups, keeping records clear and consistent.
- Support approvals and reviews where compliance input is required, ensuring decisions are documented.
- Coordinate with Operations and other teams to ensure standards are applied in day‑to‑day work.
- Support AML governance activities together with the MLRO, including documentation and evidence where required.
- Assist with regulatory readiness tasks and ongoing compliance reporting routines.
- Help keep training, attestations, and key records organised and traceable.
- Escalate issues early when standards are not followed or risks look material.
What success looks like in the first 3–6 months
- Compliance routines become more predictable: clearer documentation, fewer gaps, and less ad‑hoc handling.
- Reviews and follow-ups are completed with better visibility and cleaner records.
- Teams know what “good” looks like and engage compliance early enough to avoid rework.
What we’re looking for
- CySEC Advanced Certificate is required (evidence required).
- CySEC AML Certificate is strongly preferred (evidence required).
- Relevant experience in compliance in financial services or other high‑scrutiny environments.
- Strong documentation discipline and comfort working with structured reviews and records.
- Practical judgement and ability to be firm on essentials without creating unnecessary friction.
- Clear written and spoken communication in English.
- Comfortable working on site in Limassol.
